Sorry for the negative review, but this shredder had to be returned, as the basket kept “popping out” which interrupted the shredding process. However, in all fairness, the item was received promptly. However, it did take two e-mails to the seller and getting Amazon involved to receive my credit, so I don’t think I would purchase this item again (because of it not working correctly), nor would I purchase from this seller (because of not promptly answering my e-mail asking how to send it back and to receive credit). Sorry. I usually don’t have negative feedback, and you might purchase one of these and have no problem. The shredder mechanism did seem to work well.
